Mark's Pentax AF160 Page

2-14-24: This arrived with a Pentax Bellows II, some lens caps, a plug-in flash PC cable (which doesn't work with this flash), and a Makinon K-mount lens doubler. This flash takes only 2 AA batteries, but has some range as you can see in the pics. It works fine, the battery box was like new. This is a dedicated flash for all Pentax cameras. It's a thyristor based flash, so easy to use. There's a wheel switch for manual, or the two auto settings. It will cover a 28mm lens, but doesn't rotate or tilt. On cameras that support it the AF160 will set the shutter to sync speed and light a ready lamp in the viewfinder. It's guide number is 16, so it won't melt steel at 50 feet.
